Jack is a lovely little cockatiel. He is an older guy, although his exact age is unknown. Jack does step up and will do anything for a millet snack. Adoption update and photos coming soon!
Toe Bean was being fostered along with four other budgies but just wasn't making a connection with anyone. When Julie and David lost one of their beloved budgies, Diane, they knew that their remaining budgie, Jack, needed companionship so they gave Toe Bean a chance. To their surprise and delight, it was love at first sight! It looks like Jack and Bean were meant to be!
It took mere weeks for Rainbow the green wing macaw's *former* foster parront, Michelle, to fall in love! Rainbow is now a permanent part of Michelle's flock and we couldn't be happier for them both!
Luci is one of our first adoption success stories. Luci was just five years old when she came to Friends of a Feather, but in that time she had developed quite the potty mouth! Luckily, that did not deter Julie and David from meeting, fostering, and falling in love with this mischievous little green bird. Luci is now living the good life in her forever home, with humans who adore her :)
Hawkeye is a senior cockatiel who has found his forever home with Patty and Gary! Patty and Gary contacted Friends of a Feather after losing their beloved cockatiel of nearly 25 years, Tweety. They were immediately drawn to Hawkeye, and we are happy to report that Hawkeye is now living his best life in his new forever home!
*Update* 12/30/24 - Hawkeye's parronts say he is doing great! He sings all the time and even surprised them with a new sound last night :)
Pico & Kazooie were already bonded when they came to Friends of a Feather, and Gus arrived just one week after the pair. Their foster mom had always wanted a green cheek conure, so when the opportunity arose to foster not only one, but three of the littles, she couldn't resist. In a few short months, it was obvious that all three of these little turkeys had found their forever home, and had become the best of friends. They are now living their best flocking life.
